Brewer Attending:

It's been said that sour is the new hoppy. Today we're exploring that concept! We will be pouring complex, tart, red wine-like Flemish Sour Reds; malty, fruity, aged, somewhat sour Belgian-style Oud Bruin; light, dry, Berliner Weisse, once called "The Champagne of the North" by Napoleon's troops; and more TBA.
Sorry, the Berlinner Weisse never materialized. Here's the list so far:
Central Waters Exodus
Timmerman's Lambicus Blanche
Cuvée de Jacobins
Duchesse de Bourgogne

Is sour the new hoppy? Tart beers are absolutely refreshing and intriguing options in the craft beer scene.
